About Sisley-L

Artist Sisley-L has built a unique artistic world on the global stage and continues to pursue a wide range of activities that transcend the boundaries of contemporary art.

Since 2006, Sisley-L has showcased diverse works including oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, sculpture,  and digital art. Constantly exploring new forms of expression aligned with current trends, she is actively engaged in projects involving NFTs and the metaverse.

To date, she has held over 50 times solo and invitational exhibitions (2006–present), and was notably invited to exhibit at the renowned Saatchi Gallery in London—home to world-famous artists such as Damien Hirst.

Her participation in events at Saatchi Gallery and Christie’s Charity Auction earned her recognition as a rising talent, receiving the highest bid for her work among young artists.

In 2020, Sisley-L founded an international art fair in Hawaii as President of the International Association of Culture & Art for Peace, and once again received a Plaque of Appreciation from the Mayor. She plans to continue her activities globally, holding exhibitions and campaigns in multiple countries each year.

One of her art works themes is based on bees, which she explores through a conceptual framework connecting environmental consciousness with human society. She is showing bees live in harmony with nature, much like the life systems of humans, and views their structured, cooperative existence as a metaphor for political and social life. Through this lens, her bee-themed works become a self-portrait of our time.

Her bee artworks are both visually charming and emotionally impactful. While they initially appeal through their cuteness, a deeper look reveals reflections on environmental degradation, social contradiction, and the fragile purity of human nature. This narrative is central to her “A Portrait of A Generation” series, which captures emotions such as love, innocence, desire, and paradox in today’s world.

Just as people live with resilience and contradiction, the bees in her work embody those same qualities—symbolizing continuity, courage, and vulnerability.

“Through my work, especially Bee the Brave, I aim to highlight the urgency of environmental and climate issues in a heartfelt and hopeful way. I want my art to inspire people to face reality with both courage and compassion.”

In addition to her environmental work, she created the Queen Series in honor of the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. These pieces pay tribute to the Queen’s dignity, service, and enduring spirit. One of her portraits of the Queen is currently held at the British Embassy.

Her Generation Portrait series, which captures the essence and values of global celebrities and influencers, continues to receive international acclaim.

Recently, Sisley-L  attended a major event on AI and cybersecurity, where she witnessed live demonstrations of AI-generated phishing, deepfake voice threats, and other sophisticated attacks. She also observed how AI is being used defensively—through detection models trained on vast datasets—to counter these threats. The experience reinforced her belief in the transformative potential at the intersection of AI, digital art, blockchain, and security.

In recent year, conversations with researchers, developers, and thought leaders at the meetings affirmed a shared commitment to collaboration, transparency, and ethical innovation.

Sisley-L sees these intersections as fertile ground for creativity and progress, and is dedicated to using her artistic platform to contribute to meaningful, real-world solutions.
